By using Timeline Visualizer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Timeline Visualizer provides a browser-based tool that reads supported location-history JSON files, creates a route preview, and can record that preview as a video on your device. The current public version does not require an account and does not offer paid features.

Your data and output

You remain responsible for the files you open, the accuracy of their contents, and every preview or video you create or share. You must have the right to use the source data. Review output carefully before publishing because a route may expose sensitive locations or routines.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to stalk, harass, identify, or endanger another person; expose private location data without permission; violate applicable law or third-party rights; disrupt or probe the service; distribute harmful content; or misrepresent the service as an official Google product.

Third-party products

Google Takeout and browser media codecs are provided by third parties and may change independently. Timeline Visualizer is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. References to third-party names describe compatibility only.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided as available without guarantees that every export format, browser, file variation, or device will work. Keep your original data and verify downloaded output. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the project evolves.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the project maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of, inability to use, or sharing of output from the service.
